For Porvoon Valot 2026, Capital Creative created Mystical Garden, a large-scale light artwork that spread across the façade of Borgå Gymnasium and the surrounding Lyseopuisto park. The piece transformed the area into an immersive environment where light, colour, movement and sound guided visitors through a glowing garden-like world. Mystical Garden was a timecoded light show with spatial sound and more than one hundred fixtures across the park and building façade.

The visual language was built around a neon-inspired colour palette, flower-like gobo patterns and architectural light that seemed to radiate from the building into the surrounding trees. The façade of Borgå Gymnasium became an active part of the artwork rather than just a background, connecting the architecture and the park into one continuous visual composition.

The installation also featured a custom-composed soundtrack and spatial sound design, adding another layer to the experience and encouraging visitors to move through the work from different angles. Capital AV handled the technical production, including lighting, sound, infrastructure and system programming.
