The prestigious 4 Nations Tournament, held in North America, brought together four hockey powerhouses: USA, Sweden, Finland, and the eventual champions, Canada. As one of the biggest international hockey events of the year, the tournament demanded a world-class broadcast production, and we at Capital Creative were honored to be entrusted with the design of Nelonen’s official studio setup.

Our design process focused on creating a visually striking yet highly functional space for live expert analysis. A custom-designed curved LED screen served as the centerpiece, providing a dynamic and engaging backdrop that adapted seamlessly to different segments of the broadcast. The lighting was meticulously planned to complement the studio’s aesthetics while ensuring crisp and balanced visuals for the television audience. Every element was fine-tuned to enhance the overall viewing experience, from color temperature choices to strategic placement of key lights for optimal clarity.

Throughout the tournament, Finland’s top analysts delivered in-depth breakdowns of every game leading up to the finals, with our studio providing the perfect setting for insightful discussions. The production successfully combined technical precision with modern visual storytelling, elevating the overall look and feel of the broadcasts.
